Have you ever been to McDonald’s or any other fast food chain? I am sure most of you had this experience and at the time of order, have you been asked the following questions?
- Do you need large drink
- Do you need extra cheese on the burger etc.
I am sure you can relate to this.
Up Sell System
Asking above two questions at the time of each order is MacDonald’s up sell system. Asking up sell questions at the right time is the key to success. This is why they ask these question when the customers are on the peak of buying mode and many of us say yes un intentionally.
Benefits of Up Sell System
You can quite easily add 10 to 20 % to your revenue. For example if MacDonald’s average order is $10.00 and they add $2 by up selling, it means 20% extra revenue.
