However, using categories or tags will almost give you the same benefits. They can be compared to signs on roads that help you navigate and take you where you need to go.

- Keep it short (1-3 words)
- You can assign more than one tag with one post
- Avoid using too many tags for a single post
- Use tags that are descriptive

- Helps you understand what your readers want you to write about
- Gives you a chance to improve your content in case there are any mistakes or points that you missed. Someone will definitely point it out for you
- Responding to comments gives the impression that you are taking out time to respond which can help deepen your relationship
- It may increase the chances of your readers subscribing to your blog or actually making a purchase
- People often appreciate your content using blog comments which can help to keep you motivated
- It is a great way to know that people actually read your blog and benefit from it
- Having blog comments turned off can give the impression that your opinion doesn’t matter
Cons:
- Comments invite massive spam
- It can actually take up a lot of your time to respond to these comments
- More comments do not mean more traffic or more leads
- Even though there are ways to reduce spam, it is difficult to identify human spammers
- Manually moderating your comment section can be time-consuming because even spam-moderation plugins or tools can not give 100% accuracy
- Not all comments can add value to your posts
